dear Matthew thank you so much for sharing the photos of East Christchurch school. are you able to identify the older photos by year? I notice there are some for 1918, but others don't have readable dates. I have some relatives at the school 1874 - 1920 and would love to find them, or their teachers, in the photos.
Picture #8 of 8 male teacher standing on right in gray suit is Mr Burke. I do believe he taught my brother at Ch Ch East, he went on to be head at the Harewood Airport School 1957?
